Elizabeth Scott Community, Inc. has developed a Corporate Compliance program to ensure quality health care is provided following the applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations. We will carry out our daily activities within appropriate ethical and legal standards as they apply to our relationships with residents, visitors, physicians, third-party payers, contractors, vendors, and consultants.
Elizabeth Scott Community, Inc. has implemented a Compliance Reporting form in order for employees, residents, visitors, and contractors who wish to make an anonymous or confidential report of an ethical violation, violations of the law or any other information that you feel cannot be addressed directly with the supervisor of the department involved.
All employees, residents, and visitors are encouraged to report incidences of non-compliance by either contacting the facility directly or through the Compliance Report Form. Examples of noncompliance are: quality of care concerns, report potential abuse*, staffing, billing or coding concerns, violations of resident rights, etc… (*Employees are obligated under the Elder Justice act to report suspicion of abuse immediately.)
No employee making a good faith report of a suspected violation shall be retaliated against. However, any employee who knowingly makes a false allegation shall be subject to disciplinary action in accordance with our policies.
